Our programs cater to the individual needs of every rider—this is far more than a simple pony ride! We offer group and private lessons for participants with and without special needs. Operating year-round, the curriculum is structured into 8-week riding sessions. Each hour-long lesson includes not just riding but also essential horse safety skills, care, and handling.
We go beyond teaching riding by equipping all students with foundational horse care knowledge, with a strong focus on safety and ground handling. Instructors collaborate closely with participants to establish meaningful short- and long-term goals, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience. Each lesson is tailored to build critical skills unique to each rider through a carefully crafted and individualized curriculum.
- Adaptive/Therapeutic Riding: Our flagship program leverages the therapeutic benefits of horseback riding to enhance participants’ physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. It empowers students to move beyond their disabilities by developing real riding skills in a fun and supportive environment.
- Horsin’ Around: Designed for independent riders with special needs, as well as beginner and intermediate riders of all abilities. This program focuses on natural horsemanship both on the ground and in the saddle, helping students become well-rounded equestrians.
Our programs are meticulously designed to meet the unique needs of each rider. Certified therapeutic riding professionals, undergoing annual continuing education, lead the lessons, while dedicated volunteers ensure safety and support through regular training and background checks.
Horses are handpicked and specially trained for our programs, receiving ongoing care to maintain their readiness. State-of-the-art adaptive equipment empowers students to maximize their independence.
